Laura graduated with first class honours from Curtin University in 2000. In her professional career, she has worked in many areas of Speech Pathology and now chooses to exclusively focus on helping children with speech and language difficulties and people with disabilities. Laura is trained in a range of techniques, including (but not limited to) Nuffield Dyspraxia Program®, PROMPT©, DIR Floor time®, Key Word Signing, Hanen programs (It Takes Two To Talk™, More Than Words™, Learning Language and Loving It™, Teacher Talk™), Shape Coding™, Sounds-Write Literacy program©, Lidcombe Program for stuttering, Zones of Regulation™ and a range of Social Thinking® programs.
Laura is committed to continually developing her professional skills. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Autism Diagnosis and is working towards a PhD looking deeper into Childhood Apraxia of Speech intervention. Laura has worked in Perth, throughout the UK and across Northern QLD.
When not at work or studying, Laura is a Mum to three busy children who she loves spending time with at every opportunity.
Jessica has worked extensively in childcare as a Child Care Assistant and Special Needs Assistant. She has broad experience implementing programs developed by teachers and therapists and enjoys using her creative skills to develop unique and fun resources and visual aids, individualized for children’s interests and goals. She is passionate and inspired by working with children and their families.
She is also a Mum to two beautiful children, who she loves to make memories with.
